Thomas Saujet

President, International Cosmetics & Perfumes

Thomas Saujet is President of International Cosmetics & Perfumes, Inc. (ICP), a leading industry firm and partner that creates, markets and distributes luxury products developed in France for discerning clients in the Americas. In his leadership role, he oversees sales, marketing, operations and creative support of the company's four prestigious brands: Hanae Mori, The House of Creed, Carven and Beauty by Clinica Ivo Pitanguy.

With more than eighteen years of experience in the world of beauty - most with ICP, Thomas, in partnership with his brother Emmanuel, has propelled the company's success through industry-leading sales strategies, unique distribution alliances and new brand development within the ICP portfolio.

Following his love of the luxury fragrance market revealed during European projects early in his career, Thomas moved to the US and joined Emmanuel in 1997 to help launch the undiscovered Hanae Mori fragrance brand. In addition to developing the sales approach and managing day-to-day operations in the company's infancy, Thomas is attributed to driving the company's growth through exclusive retail partnerships and ultimately garnering brand awareness among loyal clients, making Hanae Mori one of the top 25 fragrances brands of the industry today.

An executive and creative hybrid, Thomas has also combined his keen business sense with a nose for fragrance development, spearheading the creation of the Hanae Mori's second entrée into the men's fragrance category; HiM and the recent women's Eau de Collection scents. Since the debut of HiM in Fall 2012, the Hanae Mori men's category has grown to become a best-seller in the challenging men's environment.

Harnessing his innate ability to sell fragrances to both retailers and customers alike, Thomas has helped ICP become one of the most sought after distribution partners in the industry. Following the success of Hanae Mori fragrances, he and his brother strategically drove market share for The House of Creed making it the number one beauty brand across all categories at Neiman Marcus. He was also instrumental in identifying Carven Parfums as an emerging fragrance partner, successfully breathing new life through scent for a profoundly modern fashion House.

Leading with sensitivity, a core value and differentiator of ICP, combined with his ability to motivate and connect with his teams, allows Thomas to not only mobilize the sales force, but foster a unique culture of loyalty and compassion. As one of the youngest corporate presidents in the beauty industry, his time in-store is paramount, even as the business grows. He believes spending time on the sales floor is equally important as the office and can uncover key lessons that have proven invaluable to ICP's evolution.

Still a privately held company today, ICP continues to make an indelible mark on the marketplace, typically fueled by beauty giants. ICP employs dedicated professionals committed to purveying goods of superior quality and integrity in the luxury retail environment.

Thomas has be heralded by TIME Magazine as one of its "People to Watch in International Business" along with his brother. He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and is a member of the French American Chamber of Commerce. Thomas resides in New York with his wife and three sons.
